The FBCA showcases industry leadership at the 2025 Plastics Recycling Show Europe
March 24, 2025

The Food and Beverage Carton Alliance (FBCA) is pleased to be participating in Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) 2025, where the focus will be on collaboration, innovation, and practical solutions to advance circular packaging — a key priority for FBCA’s members, including Billerud, Elopak, SIG Group, Stora Enso, and Tetra Pak.
Held annually in Amsterdam, PRSE brings together recyclers, policy experts, packaging manufacturers, and technology providers from across the plastics and composite recycling value chain. This year, FBCA will be at Stand N65, joining a strong line-up of recycling leaders including Alier, Ecorevive, PALUREC, Plastgram Industries, Recon Polymers, Seperatec and Trans Sabater, — all working to accelerate Europe’s transition to a more circular economy.
At the event, FBCA will share how food and beverage cartons are not only recyclable, but increasingly central to discussions about packaging performance, low-carbon materials, and design-for-recycling. Food and beverage cartons offer both high-quality fiber and PolyAl — a plastic-aluminum composite material — that, when recovered efficiently, can be turned into new, high-quality products.
As innovation and infrastructure continue to grow across Europe, the industry is making meaningful strides in transforming materials once seen as waste into valuable secondary raw materials. At the FBCA stand, visitors will have the chance to see and interact with a range of everyday products — from crates and flower pots to the inner casing of a car door — all made using recycled PolyAl, demonstrating its versatility and potential in a circular economy.
By engaging with recyclers, municipalities, and technology providers, FBCA aims to help unlock more value from beverage cartons, especially through the expansion of PolyAl recycling. Many of the recyclers exhibiting at PRSE — from mechanical recyclers to sorting technology specialists — play a vital role in enabling the systems that make this possible.
