Packaging Insights is an online hub for global packaging news and analysis reporting on industry developments, the circular economy, packaging technolgy, policy and more. Packaging Insights' Milana Nikolova led an engaging interview with FBCA Director General Sebastian Bartels, who emphasized the importance of a "big picture" view of the full life cycle of a food and beverage carton. Bartels reminded viewers that the primary purpose of beverage carton packaging serves to preserve the nutritional value of food and beverages without preservatives, and a long shelf-life.
